City of Tyler
The city of Tyler partners with different FCCLA members to assist them with their projects. One example is a book exchange at the city park where families can select books to bring home and read and then exchange them for new ones.
Christensen Broadcasting assists FCCLA students by helping them promote their projects using radio advertisements. One recent example is the public service announcement I made for the RTR FCCLA website
Lake Benton Grocery
This grocery store allows FCCLA students to leave materials for customers to take when they are shopping. An example is the food label information sheet that a student created for her project.
Tyler Food Shelf
The Tyler Area Food Shelf partners with FCCLA students to provide food and other products for a variety of projects to help the community. A recent example was donating cinch sacks filled with hygiene products to help students create a community hygiene closet at the RTR High School.
The RTR School District is the greatest supporter of the FCCLA chapter. Students are able to go to different classes to teach lessons, present information on their projects, and allow many different projects to be set up in the school to benefit students, families, and our community.
